Many of our friends warned us that building a house is one of the more stressful projects a family can take on. For us building with Valdez homes meant our experience was quite the opposite. In fact not only was our entire building experience enjoyable we now consider our builder, Val, one of our good friends.
Throughout the building process Val became our partner, he shared our vision, and using his many years of experience was able to give us invaluable expert advice which resulted in the home of our dreams.
Val took the stress out of building our first home, he was always supportive, approachable and flexible enough to help us create something special. This flexibility along with such attention to detail and the highest quality finishes means that even today, years on, we are still getting lots of complements on our home from friends, family, and even passes by.
Val’s honesty and integrity have left a lasting impression on us, we have recommended him to many friends and family members who have already engaged his services. Val Fernandez of Valdez Homes, is a builder we will continue to go back too over and over again! Not only did he build our current home in Leederville, but given the valuable experience with Val in this first build, Valdez homes will also be the builder for our new Home in Cottesloe and our builder of choice for any future builds. We have also recommended him to many friends and family of whom have also had great experiences utilizing Valdez homes!
Our home in Leederville, is not your average build, we used raw materials such as concrete, bricks & timber, and a number of our finishes were the raw materials themselves, so great care had to be taken with the base products as they were the finished products! This build would be a big challenge for any builder as you have to step outside the box and source trades, skills and material from unique suppliers and service providers, and Val took it all in his stride, and him and team of trades delivered an incredible home! I guess what sticks out when i think of the experience is that overtime we had a question or concern Val was there to support us on this journey, which no doubt can be scary for some!
Our vision for our home was unique, and Val helped us to realize our dream of creating a New York style inspired warehouse on a small block in Leederville, this was not an easy feat but working closely with Val we achieved every tiny detail. Val really goes above and beyond his role as a builder, and by the end i guarantee you he won’t just be your builder but a good friend.
At the end of the day what i remember from our experience building with Valdez Homes is the fact they are flexible, thorough, knowledgeable, and efficient! and overall a team you can trust!
